ilk 5 şarkıdan sonra birden biten albüm, bence the world needs a hero dan sonra megadeth in en kötü albümü, megadethin drover kardeşlerle acilen yollarını ayırması gerektiğini düşündürüyor çünkü albümün kötü olmasının temel sebepleri onlar. koskoca albümde bi tane kulağa güzel gelen solo duymak mümkün olmadı olamadı olduramadı, ayrıyetten washington is next ile bi şarkının ağzına davullarla nasıl sıçılır güzel bir örnek sunmuş shawn drover abimiz. maalesef the system has failed den sonra megadeth den sadece thrash metal albümü beklemek yeterli olmuyor. son olarak (bkz: chris poland) (bkz: vinnie colaiuta)
ayrıca bariz bi şekilde davul john bonham ın davulu değildir, john bonham ın davulu bu kadar flat değildi, oldukça efekti olan bi davuldu.
dave mustaine'in enteresan bir pazarlama taktiği denediği albümdür efendim. çıkmadan evvel megadeth'in internet sitesinde washington is next, gears of war, united abominations ve yeni versiyon a tout le monde'u dinlediydik zati. albümün nerdeyse yarısını internetten dağıt, geri kalanı için ful albüm parası iste? saçma gibi ama değil gibi...
edit: yukarıya sleepwalker'ı eklemeyi unutmuşum. sanırım bu şekilde dave emmi "şarkıları türküleri herkes bi şekilde edinsin, biz albüm satışından değil, turneden merçındayzinden parayı vuralım tarzında düşünmüş. tutarsa fena fikir değil. bu kanımı güçlendiren hadise yukardaki türkülerin hali hazırda albümün en iyi türküleri olmasıyla da desteklenebilir. ha bi tek never walk alone var bunların arasına girebilecek.

ya tamam yeni bi rust in peace falan beklemiyorum ama sadece five magics'in ilk 2 dakikasında aldıgım haz butun bu albumden aldıgım hazdan bile fazla..soylersem, carpılıcam diye korkuyorum gerci ama sololar bile guzel degil yahu..
