• rod stewart, sting ve bryan adams triosundan daha fazlasini beklerdim demek pek haksizlik olmaz herhalde bu sarki soz konusu oldugunda. parcanin buyuk bir kisminda sanki bir koroymuscasina soyluyorlar hep bir agizdan;insan biraz daha cesitlilik, en azindan kisa da olsa her bir sanatcidan sololar bekliyor.
• john dryden ın mısır kraliçesi cleopatra ve marc anthony nin yasak aşklarını anlattığı meşhur oyunu. 17. yüzyılda restorasyon döneminde ingiltere de kahramanlık türevi olayların yokluğundan ya da azlığından dolayı, hikayenin yeri olarak uzak topraklar baz alınmıştır^* süslü bir dili, ağdalı bir anlatımı vardır. oyunun ana teması, aşk ve onur arasındaki muallak ve de ikisi arasındaki seçimdir.
