• avustralya'dan kopup gelen, 2008 yapimi bir teen slasher film.. jody dwyer filmin yonetmeni. dort genc, nesli tukenen bir kaplanin pesinde avustralya'nin balta girmis ormanlarinda suruklenirler. ve bircok teen slasher filminde gerceklesen hadiseler vuku bulur.
  
  film, cografyasi ve atmosferi itibariyle wolf creek'i animsatti. kanimca o filmden asagi kalmayacak bir yapim. ustune ustluk hem cannibalism hem de avustralya'nin tarihiyle ilintili.

• after dark horrorfest'te gösterime giren filmlerden bir diğeri. ingilizlerin hakimiyetini sürdüğü avustralya'nın tazmanya adası'nda bir mahkum olan alexander pears'ın gerçek hikayesinden yola çıkılıp yazılmış bir senaryoya sahip. ancak yola çıkıldığı olay kadar vurucu bir film değil. benzer bir şekilde çıkış noktasına sahip olan "dod sno" çok daha güzel işlenmiş mesela.

  filmin konusuna göz attığımızda sanki film dolu dolu birşeylerden bahsediyormuş havası yaratmak adına avustralya tarihinden ikonlaşmış iki figüre gönderme yapıyor. biri nesli tükenmiş olan tazmanya kaplanı, diğeri ise batı tazmanya olarak bilinen aynı bölgede 1824 yılında cinayet ve yamyamlık suçlarından asılmış olan "the pieman" lakaplı alexander pearce. ama bu iki figür filmde kelebek misali lezzetsiz birer sos olmaktan öteye gidemiyor. velhasıl uzak durmakta fayda var.
