• f#'ta alabildiği değerler dışında hiç değer almamış da gösterilebilen veri tipleri. kıyaslarken (bkz: pattern matching) some(x) ve none kelimeleri kullanılır. yapı itibariyle c#'taki nullable tipleri andırır ama "değeri null olmak" ile "belli bir tipte olup değer almamış olmak" arasında anlamsal farklar olduğundan birebir aynı şey değildir.
