• cok eskiden bir internet sitesinde (u2 sarkilarindaki dinsel ogelerle iligili bir site) bu sarkinin sozlerinin arkasindaki anlami aciklamislardi.bu sarkinin judas ve isa nin arasinda gecenlerden ve son aksam yemeginden bahsettigini soyluyordu.tabi burada "end of the world" den bahseden isa oluyor.
• judas ve hz.isa arasında yaşananları judas'ın ağzından anlatan bir şarkı. bono'nun çok değer verdiği ve her zaman yapmak istediğim bir şeydi dediği aşmış achtung baby albümü şarkısı. şarkının içinde ''you miss too much these days if you stop to think'' gibi bir cümle vardır. dinlerken u2nun ne kadar elit insanlardan oluştuğu her saniyesinde kolayca idrak edilebilir.

• yönetmenliğini wim wenders'in yaptığı 1991 yapımı film. orjinal ismi için (bkz: bis ans ende der welt) başrollerinde solveig dommartin, william hurt, sam neill, max von sydow, jeanne moreau oynamaktadır. 7 ülke ve 15 şehirde çekimleri yapılan büyük bütçeli bir yol filmidir.

  u2 aynı isimli meşhur şarkısını wim wenders'in isteği üzerine film için yazmıştır, şarkı filmin soundtrack'inden önce grubun achtung baby albümünde yayınlanmıştır. şarkının sountrackte yayınlanan versiyonu ile ahtung baby'deki versiyonları birbirinden farklıdır.
  
  filmin müzikleri, yani aynı isimle yayınlanan soundtrack'i filmin kendisinden daha çok tanınmıştır. 1990ların en iyi soundtrack albümleri arasında sayılmaktadır. albümün güzelliği parçaların toplama olmayıp wim wenders'in bizzat sanatçılarla tek tek görüşerek film için parça istemesinden gelmektedir sanırım. albümde depeche mode, u2, r.e.m., talking heads, patti smith, can, elvis costello, nick cave, lou reed, jane siberrynin parçalarına yer verilmiştir.

• tahminen isa'nın yakarışlarıyla başlayan, dikkatli dinlerseniz çekiç seslerini duyabileceğiniz (00:04-00:08 arası), bilindik hikayeden çok daha farklı bir şekilde çarmıh hikayesini anlatan belki de en can alıcı u2 parçası. filmi ise büyük bir hayal kırıklığıdır.

  some things we plan, we sit and we invent and we plot and cook up. others are works of inspiration, of poetry. and it was this genius hand that pushed me up the hotel stairs to say my last goodbye to her hair white as snow and her pale blue eyes, saying, "i gotta go, i gotta go, the bomb and the breadbasket are ready to blow." in this town of men with big mouths and no guts, the pencil-seller's dog, spooked by the explosion, leaping under my wheels, as i careened out of longwood on my way to you, waiting in your dress, in your dress of blue.
